2021 Spring Trends
It’s almost time to pack away your winter boots and heavy jackets and welcome in more pastel colors, florals, and sunshine! This week’s blog post is focused on my favorite spring trends for 2021. Bright colors are back in season, and orange pumps like these work beautifully with neutral accessories and light denim from Dear John. During these transitionary periods where it’s too warm for coats and too cold for shorts, I like to merge the two seasons together - pairing florals with darker denim from Dear John and leather booties for a look that’s weather appropriate and effortlessly chic. Grab your favorite sunnies and a light jacket, and you’re ready for the day ahead!
Tory Burch is always a good idea: her floral dresses are the perfect way to welcome the warm weather. Keep it simple with a tailored jean jacket and your favorite pair of booties: once the temperatures start to rise, ditch the jacket and toss on a pair of espadrilles or wedges for a look that adapts with the seasons. Another one of my favorite trends this spring is non-cotton joggers: not only are they comfortable and modern, but they’re versatile and can easily be styled for a night on the town! Here I have a black leather version paired with a 3.1 Phillip Lim top and lace-up combat-style boots. The champagne satin jogger outfit from Neiman Marcus is the perfect blank slate: shown here with a nude sweatshirt and nude pumps, you can accessorize this look with a chunky necklace or statement clutch for more oomph!
